The Carbon Literacy Project is an award-winning, globally-recognized program that provides accredited courses that offer globally-recognized credibility and quality assurance. Its significance in driving climate action was acknowledged by the United Nations at the COP21 climate talks in Paris, where it was named a Transformative Action Program.
Participants who complete a day's worth of accredited learning are certified as "Carbon Literate," receiving a certificate that validates their understanding. Organizations with a significant number of Carbon Literate employees may be eligible for "Carbon Literate Organization" status.
